I definitely miss my cat, its hard when you can’t always go ‘home’ and cuddle your cat. I don’t really always know what to call home, but he definitely found his in Nigeria. When I saw him while there on spring break I realized that he was acting like a kitten again, he was also cuddlier than he had been when we were living in Milan and he was in an apartment and unable to run around outside. Now he has a huge area to run around in, and people to visit, things to see. He is absolutely loving it.

I decided when I was there that I needed to take a lot of nice photos because I don’t always get to see him, and I miss him.

Great Finds

I had been hearing on and off about the French desert the Macaron, I was interested and tried a couple in DC - but I’d heard the real ones from Paris were so much better. I then moved on with life, and when a family friend brought over Town and Country magazine, I read an article about the pastries of Paris, and the macaron again came up… As if it was fate, I was in the Rinascente in Milan and noticed a keychain from Laduree Paris which had little macarons on it, thinking it was strange I wondered if there was a store now in Milan. Upon walking out into Piazza Duomo and seeing a man holding a bag, I knew it had to be in Milan, and close by. 

Finally, I found the store, which was small, but absolutely gorgeous… There is not much space inside, but the displays outside, and the displays inside were all beautiful. Not to mention the Macarons themselves. 

All in all, it was a great find. So excited to visit again in the Summer and find the new flavors
